PayPal shares surged nearly 7% after Bloomberg reported Stripe is considering acquiring all or parts of the payments giant. The potential deal would be the largest fintech acquisition in history, combining Stripe’s $159 billion infrastructure empire with PayPal’s 434 million active accounts.
